Dear readers,
We are continuing our series of virtual exhibitions showcasing the work of talented Russian-speaking New Zealanders. You can always view the exhibitions on our Facebook page, "NASHA GAVAN" – Contests, Exhibitions, Festivals (facebook.com/groups/617809839452303).
This time, we are delighted to present the work of Larisa Klimova in an exhibition
“NEW ZEALAND THROUGH THE EYES OF ITS GUEST”
In her own words: “Of course, I am not a professional artist, but I have been drawing since childhood and have even taken courses to develop my skills. I mainly work in oils, and all the works presented in this exhibition are oil on canvas.
I am now back in New Zealand, once again captivated by its landscapes and natural beauty.
Since taking up painting seriously, I have created more than 150 works inspired by my travels to different countries, and I have held nine exhibitions in Odesa and Kyiv”.
As always, the editorial team has selected a small number of works from the
exhibition, which you can see below.
We will continue to showcase new virtual exhibitions and introduce talented
members of our Russian-speaking community on our Facebook page and in
Nasha Gavan. If you know someone whose work deserves to be seen, please send
us your suggestions or tell us about other talented people in our community. We
will be happy to get in touch with them!
